Game Selling Command Centre Privacy Policy
Game Selling Command Centre (GSCC) is a private, local-first application used by its operator to manage a personal video-game inventory and an eBay selling workflow. This policy explains how information is handled when GSCC is authorised to interact with eBay.
Information GSCC uses
When authorised by an eBay account holder, GSCC may access information required to create, manage and monitor that account holder's eBay listings, including seller-account identifiers, authorisation tokens, listing information, business policies and information returned by eBay APIs that is necessary for the requested workflow.
Purpose and use
eBay information is used only to provide features requested by the operator, such as connecting an eBay seller account, preparing and publishing listings, checking listing status, obtaining relevant marketplace information and complying with eBay Marketplace Account Deletion/Closure notifications. GSCC does not sell eBay personal information or use it for advertising.
Storage
The operator's game collection, seller OAuth credentials and application data are stored locally on the operator's Mac. GSCC's Cloudflare compliance service does not receive the game collection or seller OAuth tokens.
Cloudflare compliance service
A small Cloudflare service receives verified eBay Marketplace Account Deletion/Closure notifications and temporarily queues only the identifiers needed for GSCC to process those requests. The queue entry is removed after the local application confirms processing. The service also relays the one-time result of an eBay OAuth authorisation back to the local application and does not persist the OAuth authorisation code.
Sharing and processors
GSCC does not sell or rent personal information. Information is shared only where required to operate the requested eBay integration, comply with eBay requirements or applicable law, or through infrastructure providers used for the compliance service. Cloudflare provides the hosting infrastructure for that service.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained only for as long as it is needed for the requested workflow or compliance purpose. When GSCC receives an applicable eBay Marketplace Account Deletion/Closure notification, matching eBay account data held by GSCC is removed as required. Temporary notification queue records are deleted after processing.
Security
GSCC is designed to minimise remote storage of seller information. Authorisation tokens remain local to the operator's Mac, secrets are not exposed in public pages, and eBay account-deletion notifications are validated before processing.
User choices
The operator can disconnect the eBay seller integration and remove locally stored eBay credentials. Authorisation can also be revoked through the connected eBay account. Closing an applicable eBay account is handled through eBay's Marketplace Account Deletion/Closure process.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when GSCC's eBay integration changes. The current version will remain publicly available at this URL.
